Do you need a personal or small business website? Do you have a website that is not mobile friendly? Do you know that over 40% of the people search the Internet for goods and services using their mobile devices? You may need to migrate your existing website to a CMS (Content Management System) that is mobile friendly.

I’m sure you’ve given it much thought. If you would like my recommendations on selecting a design firm or a freelancer, please read my blog post – Searching For a Website Designer. This page was size tested using SmallSEOTools. The page you are viewing is 100 KB. I consider this page size, give or take a few KB, as the average page size. If individual pages exceed 100 KB, I charge $45 per hour to continue adding design elements provided by the client. The pricing above includes three hours of consultation plus two hours of WordPress training. Anything beyond five hours (consultation & training) will be billed at $45 per hour in quarter hour increments. If you do not want WordPress training, you can include the two training hours as general consultation for a total of five hours of consultation before billing occurs. All page text and images must be supplied in electronic format. Resizing of images is included, but any retouch or other image manipulation will be billed at $45 per hour at quarter hour increments.

The average cost to create a small website is $750. You will need a hosting company. I can recommend Inmotion Hosting. I’ve been with them for over a decade, and I am completely satisfied with their service. Basic website pricing does not include any eCommerce. I use Woocommerce in conjunction with WordPress. Read my blog post to get some idea of additional costs to add eCommerce. If you want to sell your products online, let’s talk.

If you currently do not have a website, and you have not experimented with WordPress, this may be a bit overwhelming. Have no worries!  Contact me, and we can talk all about it.

On the other hand, if you are fairly comfortable with WordPress and have no problem maintaining a site, then you can save money on maintenance. I can show you what you need to do.

Anthony Marr, Willie, and JasonOn a final note, you might be wondering about the name – Tigers Eye Web Design. I have a affinity for tigers. I worked with them for many years. I had the wonderful opportunity to work with  Zoologist and world renowned tiger expert Dr. Michael Bleyman.
